Is it possible that the human mind in some way reflects the workings of the universe that created it? Well, of course there are thought-processes and instincts that easily can be reduced to hands-on evolutionary conditions. But I'm thinking of more abstract ideas... Let's have a look at some pre-science ideas about reality, shall we? - The Tao that can be trodden is not the enduring and unchanging Tao. The name that can be named is not the enduring and unchanging name. On one of my travels in the deep forests of Caledonia I came across a young Child sitting at a fire. The evening was upon us, and I was curious to why this Child was alone at this mysterious place. As I approched the Child, she suddenly looked up at me; smiling. "Come", she said, "sit with me." I gave the standard scientific answer about absorption of certain wavelengths of light in the atmosphere by gas molecules; and after hearing this the Child said "I thought the color blue was in my head."
